PARACAS – ICA – NAZCA 2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT

Our Itinerary:

DAY 1: PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS – ICA- HUACACHINA

04:00 hrs. Departure towards Paracas with Transportes Cruz del Sur (Av. Javier Prado 1109).

07:30 hrs. Arrival in Paracas. Reception at the terminal and transfer to the pier.

08:00 hrs. We will leave for the Ballestas Islands in modern gliders, all with life jackets and a guide on board. On the way you You will be able to appreciate “El Candelabro”, a large geoglyph that served as a lighthouse for the Paracas navigators. This Candelabra is related to the Nazca Lines and geoglyphs.
The Ballestas Islands are made up of rock formations where there is an important marine fauna with guano birds such as the Guanay, Piquero, Pelicano and Zarcillo, mainly.
We will also be able to see Peruvian Humboldt penguins, a bird that is in danger of extinction. Likewise, these islands serve as a natural refuge for different varieties of sea lions, dolphins and other mammals.

12:00 hrs. Departure to the city of Ica.

1:00 p.m.: Arrival in the city

1:30 p.m. Start of City Tour: We will visit the historic center of the city of Ica, Plaza de Armas, The Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren and an artisanal Winery, where we will learn about the Process of making Peruvian Wines and Piscos, we will also be able to taste the different varieties of Wines and Piscos.
Then, we will have a visit to the Huacachina Lagoon, considered the oasis of America, a place where adventure sports such as Buggies and Sandboarding are practiced.

7:00 p.m. Departure to the City of Nasca.

9:30 p.m. Arrival in the city of Nasca and transfer to the Hotel.

Overnight in Nasca

DAY 2: NAZCA – OVERFLIGHT

Breakfast.

08:00 hrs. Transfer to the airfield where we will have an introductory video about the Nazca Lines. Then, we will board a small plane that will fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines; huge line drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures, drawn in the desert, which can only be appreciated from the air.

2:00 p.m. Departure to the city of Lima.
